Moderation Control Panel
-
It began with a visit from the Secret Service. After their investigation of content a user had uploaded, I realized more granular management and moderation of user-uploaded content would be necessary for the social network platform.
-
UX and Design. Conduct research and conceptualize workflow patterns in creating an interface within the ONEsite platform.
-
Design and create an interface for community users and ONEsite support staff to view incoming user-generated content for review as a way of moderating content.
The end result. A moderation management panel that handles all incoming content and enables workflows for handling additional approvals, manager access, and more.
I started by whiteboarding ideas. It needed to fit within the structure of the ONEsite Control Panel, but beyond that it was open. The key deliverables were identified. What content, where would it go, what could be seen if a piece of content was flagged. It started with questions. Raising possibilities.
I started moving the lists of items and feedback and content into potential ideas. Crude but effective to get the idea across. This was presented internally.
Additional clarity was added to visualize content, and simply the interface. Ideas from feedback based on use cases were integrated.
